Jenny Hodge

Jenny Hodge is Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Development at American Modern Insurance Group, located in suburban Cincinnati, OH.   She and her team are responsible for developing fact-based recommendations about market conditions, product offerings and new opportunities for profitable growth.  Her team is also responsible for the development of state-level marketing and sales plans in a cross-functional environment.  In support of those goals, she is also responsible for managing the market research function and is also actively involved with the strategic planning process at American Modern.  Jenny also does frequent meeting facilitation for both internal and external groups in order to help clarify goals, increase mutual understanding and achieve objectives.

Jenny brings unique insight into the world of insurance market observation, having worked in both commercial and personal lines, as well as both field and home office environments. 

Jenny has been active within the Society of Insurance Research for many years, serving as an officer as well as on the Board.  With her Associate in Research and Planning (ARP) and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations, she has also completed numerous CPCU exams.  Originally from Louisville, KY, Jenny holds a B.S. in Finance from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.  She is currently pursuing a master’s of science in organizational leadership from the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, OH.
