Jim McKelvey

Jim McKelvey is a Remarketer for CU Factory Built Lending (CUFBL). He has over 40 years in the Manufactured Housing Industry. He began his career during high school working for his father in the family owned dealership that was founded in 1951. Mr. McKelvey has worked in every aspect of this dealership from sales to service, and took over the operation of the dealership with his mother when his father died in 1979. In the late 80s he ran a pick up and delivery operation for lender repossessed homes called Bromac Service. Mr. McKelvey closed the family owned business in 2003 and began working for CU Factory Built Lending as the collection manager. He was a member of the original management team that built CUFBL into one of the prime manufactured home lending sources today. Mr. McKelvey is the past president of the Alamo Chapter of the Texas Manufactured Housing Association. He is a regular contributor of DIY articles for the Factory Built Bulletin, FBOA’s quarterly newsletter.
